  • David Bialzak: Chair & Executive Director

    David is a retired former senior executive in the financial services industry with an extensive background in risk management and capital markets. In his 20-year career with Wells Fargo, he oversaw risk management, compliance and credit risk management in the Consumer Lending and Home Lending businesses. He received a BS from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Cornell University.

  • Sabrina Maron: Programs Chair

    Sabrina has been facilitating financial literacy, social justice, and conflict resolution for over 20 years. She has a history of nonprofit leadership and community building in her local communities, higher education, and elementary school communities. She is a former Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner who has served middle class and high net worth individuals at boutique financial planning firms in Los Angeles, including City National Bank. She began her career in NYC as a consultant for Ernst & Young developing custom computer systems for large financial service corporations. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, a tween, a teen, and a 100 lb. Bernedoodle. She loves to hike, travel, is a foodie, and a classically trained Pilates instructor.

  • Austin Roberts: Vice Chair and Volunteers Chair

    Austin is currently a management consultant focusing on sustainability, strategy, and marketing. Prior to consulting, he held various roles in the wine and fine foods industries in the central valley of California – from sales and marketing to operations and project management. He received his BS from the University of the Pacific in Business Administration and his MS in Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University. He holds several certifications in the areas of Corporate Responsibility, Healthcare Management, and is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional. Working with 50/50 Leadership and the volunteers during his graduate program inspired Austin to join the efforts to empower, educate, and inspire.

  • Vanya Boardman: Mentorship Co-Chair

    Vanya is currently the Director of Business Operations at Breakthrough Properties, utilizing cross-collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence across global office locations; she oversees the administrative functions, internal communications, and streamlines corporate facilities and resources.  Most recently she served as Director of Facilities at Best Buy Health leading Facility and Administrative teams nationwide. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from City University, Seattle. In addition, she holds multiple certifications in the areas of Ergonomics, Corporate Responsibility, and Facility Management (FMP).

  • Christine Iovino: Mentorship Co-Chair

    Christine is currently leading Business Development initiatives at a tech/retail start-up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She focuses on expansion into new businesses, developing strong relationships with internal and external partners and creating processes to help continued growth and scale. Prior to joining her current company, she spent almost a decade working as a Buyer and Merchandising Manager. Her academic achievements include a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Marist College. In addition to her academic achievements, she is also a certified Yoga Instructor and has been a mentor with 50/50 Leadership since April 2021.

  • Jessica Day: Treasurer

    Jessica began her career in internet advertising in Boston. After moving to New York she transitioned to the financial sector ending up as the CFO of a hedge fund. After the birth of her first child she decided to focus her time on raising her children. In her free time she serves as treasurer on the board of The Oaks School and as secretary on the board of Minds Matter Southern California.
